We may love our weekly yoga class and value the time it gives us to nurture ourselves but then find it hard to translate this into our daily lives. Putting in the effort to cultivate a personal practice brings us massive benefits. By exploring what we’ve learned in class through personal inquiry, being open-minded and curious about our experience we become open to what our bodies and minds need and become aware of what stands in the way of that. It doesn’t need to be huge amounts of time, just 5-10 minutes per day is all it takes. Even just sitting on the mat if that’s all you can manage, the intention to practice is still there!
